Stop backup and clean shutdown

hello Proxmox experts,

I have a nextcloud vm with a mysql database. Currently my plan is to
run mode=stop backups on Sundays (vzdump, no PBS!). The downtime is
accepted but can I rely on Proxmox to shutdown the services
(i.e. systemctl stop mysql) and not just kill the services?
(of course I have qemu-guest-agent installed if that makes a difference).
The documentation says so but the AI says the opposite so I would like
to double-check

It performs an orderly shutdown of the VM, just like when you execute 'systemctl poweroff' or 'shutdown now' from inside the VM. So yes, all services should be stopped gracefully.
