Hello
Ok this may sound a bit strange but will try to explain what I am looking for and then I want to know if it is a good or bad solution.
I have two Proxmox server that I like to backup some VM
I was thinking about install Proxmox Backup Server on a HP Microserver that I going to have some TB storage.
But I do not want to have it running all the time, just a few hours on the weekends.
My idea is that run wake on lan command on a certain fixed time, let us say 7am in the morning on saturday so Proxmox Backup Server start up.
And then at 7.10am it start to run backup on VM1 and after that VM2 and so on.
And when it done backup it going to shutdown the Proxmox Backup Server.
Maybe set a time that turn the server of or run a script on the last backup job when it is finnish.
Right now I do not want to have three server running 24/7 and I wonder if this is a good or bad idea?
Not even sure if I can run wake on lan on the server but I going to look into that later.
