Hi,
can someone explain, why a harddisk, which is relevant neither for Proxmox (located on another hdd) nor for the VM (which is located on the same hdd as proxmox), wakes up, when the VM is stopped, started or a new one created?

Details:
1. Proxmox is installed on /dev/sda, where also the storage for all VMs resides (it is an SSD).
2. Another harddisk (/dev/sdc), only used for data of another VM (fileserver) is usually in standby, because i only access files every now and then.
3. I start a VM (asterisk), which only uses parts of the SSD (/dev/sda) -> /dev/sdc wakes up. WHY???
4. pvestatd is not running, because it keeps my disks (at least some disks) from getting into standby.

Any hint, why this is happening?

regards,
astrakid
