So I have 9 Physical servers in a pve cluster with about 30 virtual machines running between the physicals. I have one backup job that is set up to back up all virtual machines. This method works fine I have no issues with it. When it runs it runs 9 backups at once to the proxmox backup server. Again no issue, but for squeezing faster transfer rate times I was wondering if I could stagger the server backups within the one job. I know I could set up a job for each server and time them differently, but it can be a maintenance nightmare. I didn't know if there was an option to have it run 1 physical backup at a time. So it would start backing up Physical Server 1 VMs and when done backing up it would go to Physical Server 2 VMs and so on. As to get maximum bandwidth for backups.
Thanks!
