Every once and a while I loose ssh and https access to my proxmox host. No recent changes. Having read similar posts, I've checked hostname conflicts, interfaces, etc, with no success. Accidently, while testing ssh access from the host shell, I managed to 'wake it up' or something. From the local proxmox command line, I did an 'ssh 10.98.xxx.xxx' which is my host ip, and connected locally. Afterwards I was able to ssh and https into my host. ???
This solution has worked for me multiple times in the past, but sooner or later it fails again. I'm sure I have a network configuration issue to be addressed that the virtual ssh ping magically fixes, but it's beyond me.
Your thought would be appreciated.
