Spindown no longer works

Hi!

Since a couple of days my HDD does not spin down anymore.

> lsof |grep datastore

shows, /mnt/datastore/data/.lock is open by proxmox-backup-proxy and seams to prevent spindown.

Did this behaviour change recently ?

no that was always done AFAIR, though we don't do anything with it when nothing happens.
we do however collect fs stats like usage etc. maybe there was some kernel change that does access the hdd when doing that?
