Hi I have a data drive (as a file server) on my proxmox that is bound to a container.
The container is from the ubuntu 10.04 LTS X64 template.
I tried to spin down the drive using hdparm within the container but it says:
"/dev/sdb: No such file or directory"
I tried to spin down the drive from cluster node but it doesn't work, presumably because the drive is bound and accessed by the container.
When I was using the ubuntu 8.04 x86 template on the exact same machine, I was able to spin down the drive from the container using hdparm.
It is a home file server so it is hardly used so I want to extend the life of the drive as much as possible...
Can any please help?
