I'm using Proxmox VE 8.3.3. on a laptop
Since some weeks, I've seen a strange effect on one of my VMs.
I get access to it with Spice (four monitors but I don't use then all time, it happens even with only one active monitor).
I can work normally during a certain time (2 hours, typically), then the display freezes for about 5 seconds and resets to login screen.
If I log in again immediately, the phenomenon reoccurs a few minutes (or even seconds) after.
The VM is 8GB without ballooning, 4 cores and runs a pretty standard Debian Linux 12
I've observed the following:
- the VM is not reset, it's only the graphical session (like a sort of systemctl lightdm restart)
- it seems a bit related to the VM load, but not systematically
- there's nothing notable in the VM's logs
- there's nothing notable in the hosts system logs
I'm clueless at the prompt :-(
Does anybody have any idea to understand the point?
