Hi,

Running speedtest on the Proxmox server, I am getting Download: 932 Mbit/s range, but when running speedtest on the virtual host, always getting in the Download: 490 - 505 Mbit/s range. Guest hosts
are FreeBSD with Virtio bridge. How do I figure out why the performance is so much slower on the guest host?

Hi,

may by it is the virtio driver from FreeBSD?
So you the same behavior on Linux as guest?

Linux host speed test is 750 Mbit/s range. I have an other identical proxmox server with identical config, and the Freebsd hosts are getting 920 Mbit/s + range.

What physical NIC do you use?

lspci |grep -i network

01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation I350 Gigabit Network Connection (rev 01)

Thanks!

Please tell me which version of FreeBSD do you are using?
Also, pleas send the output of

pveversion -v
