So I'm curious as looking around there I can't find anything detailing how to search for specific timeframes, i understand you can search for wide time ranges, like day, week, month... 1698169913333.png

However this doesn't help, I'm trying to search for specific traffic usage for something 2 weeks ago on X date between X and X time
we do have other monitoring systems for looking at this stuff also, but it doesn't give the full picture that we would get in proxmox
is there any plugins, or maybe I'm just doing it wrong, or some specific setting that needs to be set? any help is appreciated.

since the data is saved in an rrd database, there is not really a point in filtering for a specific time rage, since there are only these buckets,
and you wouldn't gain any more info by filtering for e.g. a specific week a year ago, since that fine-grained data is lost when moving it to the next bucket

if you want more detailed graphs (or longer into the past) you can use the metrics plugins, there you can export the data e.g. into influxdb: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#external_metric_server
