Hi Folks,
As a long time personal VE user when at work we started looking at replacing our Barracuda SPAM appliances I immediately jumped at evaluating PMG.
Sadly I've hit a couple of problems that are preventing me moving forward. Firstly and I appreciate this might not go down to well given the company I'm in, I'm unable to install the ISO on our work XenServer VM host cluster. During the install I get an error saying 'Cannot partition /dev/xvda' and the install borks. Checking /dev and the device exists and 'vanilla' Debian works without issue.
So given PMG will install on Debian I instead installed a fresh copy of 9.3, set a static IP, updated the hosts file etc and added PMG from the Proxmox repo. Using this method the everything installs fine and after a reboot I can logon and configure PMG! Yay, well not quite when I try to update the Spamassassin rules gives:
Update available for channel updates.spamassassin.org: -1 -> 1822617
http: (curl) GET http ://sa-update.spamassassin.org/1822617.tar.gz, success
http: (curl) GET http ://sa-update.spamassassin.org/1822617.tar.gz.sha1, success
http: (curl) GET http ://sa-update.spamassassin.org/1822617.tar.gz.asc, success
rules: failed to run FORGED_GMAIL_RCVD test, skipping:
(Can't locate object method "check_for_forged_gmail_received_headers" via package "Mail::SpamAssassin:erMsgStatus" at (eval 1323) line 643.
)
channel: lint check of update failed, channel failed
Update failed, exiting with code 4
TASK OK
Issuing sa-update from the cmd line results in the same error.
Any pointers on either issue would be very much appreciated.
Simon
