Spam / Quarantine Databases

Hi There

I hope you are well.

We are migrating our PMG instance to a new virtual server by means of a new install and a backup restore.

I just want to find out if there is any way that we can move the Spam / Quarantined Items over as well? Our system keeps quarantined items for 30days.

Our system is on version 8.2.1

Any advice will be appreciated.

The quarantined data is not included in the backup - and can not be moved in this way.
In general this is not an issue, as it's transient anyways and you can ask your users to release what they need before you do the switch
(or keep your old install around for 30 more days)

as the data is both stored on disk (the mails themselves), as well as in the database (the meta-information) there is no straight-forward way to just copy this over.

Why do you need to copy that data?

We want to carry the info across, in case one of our users require anything down the line.
