Hi,
Ive an issue with my PMG config in that when I release an email from Quarantine the configured Email From isn't getting applied and they are coming from postmaster@antispam.localdomain
This then causes deliverability issues for the released email.
Any ideas why the configuration doesn't take effect?
Thanks

mails released from quarantine are intentionally sent with an envelope-from of <postmaster@$fqdn> - see:
https://git.proxmox.com/?p=pmg-api....cc519b5a1d1c866913d634ea5422f5d4;hb=HEAD#l100

This is to:
a) prevent spammers to find out that a mailbox does exist (in case of a bounce-message from the delivery from quarantine)
b) to notify the administrator of PMG if something is off with the setup

the issue I see here is <antispam.local> being your fqdn:
make sure that you have set:
* the correct hostname (only the part before the first '.') in /etc/hostname
* the correct domainname (everything after the first '.') as search entry in /etc/resolv.conf
* a correct pointer to your IP in /etc/hosts

see:
https://pmg.proxmox.com/pmg-docs/pmg-admin-guide.html#_configuration_files_overview

I hope this helps!
