Hi All,

I have upgraded from PMG 7 to 8 some weeks ago and the spam detection rate dropped significantly. I had a nice setup using bayes and clamav with external rules and it seems none of this mechanisms is either working or catching spam. I read that Bayes is no longer recommended but it WAS working nicely and now I get a 0% Bayes Prob. with -1.9 points on a classic Spam mail.....

I am a bit lost on where to look first so did anybody have similar problems and has some pointers to start with?

Oliver

If you had Bayes working on PMG 7 it should still remain enabled - check /etc/pmg/pmg.conf - in the spam section.

anyways - if you can share some logs of the mails that go through we might be able to see what's not working anymore
