Hello All,

I am new to Proxmox and after trying to setup a Windows 7 virtual machine I have noticed a yellow triangle on the computer icon.

I have used the virtio-win-0.1.173.iso to install the drivers for the items that we missing drivers.

I have also installed the windows6.x-hypervintegrationservices-x64.cab file to fix the unknown device issue.

I have attached a pic of the triangle I am talking about?

Has anyone else had this before and how did you resolve it.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi,

Could you try the following instructions:

1.) Go to Device manager - Right click on "HID Button over Interrupt Driver" then Click Update Driver Software

2.) Click "Browse my computer for driver software"

3.) Click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"

4.) Select "Generic Bus" and click Next.

5.) Click Close and the device should now be operating fine :)

If not worked with you, please post VM config qm config <VMID>

Hi, thanks for the reply. I will give it a go shortly and let you know how I get on.

thanks,
Andrew

Hi,

I could not find the item that you were referring to in my device manage so I switched the view to "Resources by type" and found a device marked with a yellow triangle. I right clicked that I installed the driver which lead to my original issue being resolved.

I have attached screen clips of the items I am referring to.

Thanks,
Andrew
