Hallo, bin noch ziemlich frisch bei Proxmox. Habe eine Ubuntu VM und eine WIN11 VM auf Proxmox installiert. Lief auch soweit. Aber nach einem kompletten Reboot des Proxmox-Servers läuft die WIN11 VM nicht. Im Log gibt es den Hinweis: Fehler: can't lock file "/var/lock/qemu-server/lock-200.conf. Die WIN11 VM ist die 200.
Das File "lock-200.conf ist im Nano aber komplett leer.
Was könnte ich bei der Installation vergessen haben?

Hello, I'm still fairly new to Proxmox. Installed an Ubuntu VM and a WIN11 VM on Proxmox. Ran so far too. But after a complete reboot of the Proxmox server, the WIN11 VM does not run. In the log there is a note: Error: can't lock file "/var/lock/qemu-server/lock-200.conf. The WIN11 VM is the 200.
The "lock-200.conf" file is completely empty in the Nano.
What could I have forgotten during the installation?

schaut so aus als gäbe es noch einen Prozess der mit diesem Lockfile interagiert. Lass mal lslocks | grep lock-200 laufen um zu sehen welcher Prozess hier ein Lock hält.

Schön dass das hier funktioniert hat, allerdings ist es grundsätzlich nicht gut Lockfiles einfach zu löschen. Wenn ein Prozess das Lock noch benötigt, kann es zu einem instabilen Systemzustand kommen, indem zwei Prozesse gleichzeitig die selben Dateien bearbeiten. Daher wäre es grundsätzlich besser vorher mal zu schauen welcher Prozess das Lock im Moment hält.
