Hello,
I have a problem installing Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on the latest version of proxmox 8.4 installed a few days ago.
Apparently it's impossible to install the OS in “Seabios”, because I get a fatal error during installation.
Even in OVMF sometimes it crash.
I do not have this problem with debian 12.
In seabios i have a crash at step "Installing packages on target system: ['grub-pc'].
In OVMF it crash at step "Installing packages on target system: ['efibootmgr', 'grub-efi-amd64', 'grub-efi-amd64-signed', 'shim-signed'] /"
I'd like your opinion, where do you think this could be coming from?
Thank you.
EDIT : Solved after increase memory to 2GB.
I was trying to make the same configuration as I already made with debian with 1 core and 1gb memory.
I will try with minimal ubuntu or go with debian.
