SOLVED -- Sorry Noob Question - No Networking After VMWare vmdk Import - NOT ADAPTER NAME

So sorry if this is covered elsewhere. Proxmox noob. An exile from the island of vmware.

Imported my vmdk exported from my ESXi server. Spun up my Windows Server VM with no issues. Both of my linux machines have networking problems.

Yes, I've checked the device name and changed it in both my /etc/network/interfaces (for my debian flavor pihole server) and /etc/netplan/XXXX.yaml files.

The Proxmox network adapters and vmbr devices look solid (works on my Windows Server). I can ping myself by address and localhost but nothing else. Nothing on same subnet or out. For some very strange reason, one or two pings managed to get through to my Windows Server.

I'm suspecting there is something wrong on the Proxmox network stack even though I got the Windows Server to work through the same bridge as my pihole.

I can't imagine there is some kind of QOS filter going on (I do have some massive file move operations from my backup location to my Windows Server) that would drop pings.

Any help out there?

Many thanks in advance!

Eventually one solves their own question. It was the vmbr being configured for round-robin. Guessing my DL380p proliant Just couldn't take it.
