I deployed Proxmox on an HP Server with a raid controller.

When I installed Proxmox, it properly showed the Logical disks I had created in the RAID configurations. I selected the first logical disk for Proxmox to install on and I had another Logical disk consisting of 3x 300GB SAS drives configured that I saw in the setup screen but post install, I can not find the disk in proxmox/debian.

when I do fdisk -l I get all this

root@ve1:/var/log# fdisk -l

I've never seen anything like this, I am unsure of what to make of it or how to correct it.

Is there a way with gdisk to list drives? My other issue, is I can't find the drive. It was present in the GUI install of Promox, but when I go through /dev/ i can't seem to find the second logical drive.

Maybe it was LVMified. Please check with vgs.

With parted it is also very easy:

for i in /dev/sd[a-z]; do sudo parted $i print; done

I found the drive using lsblk

cciss!c0d1

the c0d1 stands for controller 0, Disk 1.

/dev/cciss/c0d1 gets me to the drive.

Thanks!
