Virtualbox has Guest Additions and says it "is designed to be installed inside a virtual machine after the guest operating system has been installed. They consist of device drivers and system applications that optimize the guest operating system for better performance and usability."
Is there something similar for proxmox?
I just installed ubuntu server as a guest and forgot to remove the cdrom before restarting. Clicking the Shutdown resulted in a timeout.
Another post showed how to grep for the PID and kill -9 PID but did not mention guest additions.
So was wondering if there was such a time for Ubuntu guests?
