Hi;
I installed and configured Proxmox VE on the real machine. But when I wanted to convert my 1TB vmdk file to qcow format and import it, it gave an insufficient space error. I also installed a 2nd disk and it's 10TB. How can I integrate this into the system and run my virtual machine?
I'm still a beginner at this, I'm waiting for your support

hi,

you need to add your new disk as a storage for that node.

check on the GUI: {nodename} -> Disks (see picture)

you can create different kind of storage [0] according to your needs.

under the disks menu you should be able to create a new storage on that disk (see the options below on the left hand side)

I was able to install it with the instructions you specified.
The reason I couldn't add the disk was because I had created an lvm before. After remounting the raw disk, I was able to format it ext4 and integrate it.
Thanks for your help :)
