Hi,

we ran some solaris hosts since proxmox 3.0 with an ok performance for more than 1 year.
We never rebootet them

Yesterday we restarted the solaris boxes under proxmox 3.3 and since then we have a very bad performance. Booting takes 20 Minutes.
What changed in the meantime might be the kvm version, nothing else changed.

We also tested all the recommendations on https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Solaris_Guests and http://www.linux-kvm.org/page/Guest_Support_Status without success.

Does someone habe an idea what might be causing the problem ?

Thanks

We do not use Solaris , however our main bisiness software will only run using Debian Etch . Over the years we've had etch systems not working after upgrades or misbehaving. For instance during heavy network loads etch systems have time problems.

I've found that using realtec nics allowed our systems to even boot after one upgrade .

So maybe try using different nic or disk or cpu types?
