sorry yes,snapshot.i want to backup the virtual machine as snapshot to freenas on proxmox.

You mean incremental snapshots? You could try `pve-zsync` ( https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/PVE-zsync ) if the host uses ZFS too.

Else you'd need to do normal backups with the freenas attached as NFS or the like.
