I have an OptiPlex 7050 i7-7700 with proxmox running a virtualized pfsense instance.
When using OpenVPN (Private internet access, one server) I get the following speeds
-915Mbps directly on the proxmox OptiPlex in xfce4 in a browser
-300Mbps on windows client with a 13thgen I-7
-without PIA running both proxmox OptiPlex and the 13gen I-7 get 950Mbps
I can't figure out why my speeds are so much slower on the client I-7 machine when the loop back VMBR0 connection has almost a saturated connection with OpenVPN.
This is my network configuration
