slow network

Hello, I have two proxmox servers with 1VM openmediavault on each. I have a linux VM on the 1st server. Both servers are equipped with a 10 Gbit network card. When from linux (debian) I launch a copy between the two NAS, my speed is only 60MB/s.
From a windows PC on the network I can download files from the NAS at 500MB/s

Are you using the slow E1000 instead of the fast virtio virtual NICs?

Only the virtio drivers when you are using virtio NICs. Bu Linux usully should have them preinstlled.

Have you tried to benchmark host-to-host, perhaps using iperf? would give you a baseline indication and indicate if the issue is host or vm related....
