[SOLVED] Slow console access for all VMs

Not sure how to troubleshoot this one beyond what I've already tried.

It seems that when using the proxmox console , the refresh is very slow sometimes taking a few seconds to update after pressing keys. This is not the case when SSHing into the VM which seems as fast as I'd expect.

The host does not seem overloaded, and there is plenty of bandwidth to the VM.
Are there any tests I can run to identify what might be causing the slowdown?

Have you tried on multiple web browsers? Some addons/extensions, especially Advertisement or Javascript blockers, may impact usage experiences. I have no problems with Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome (the most popular browser on globe).

That seems to be the answer; Firefox seems to simply be quite slow even if I have no JS or advert blockers installed. Has anyone else experienced this?
