Hello,
I'm new to Proxmox so sorry if I'm asking a silly question! I come from an ESXi background.
I have a single server in a data centre with a single NIC.
I have a single IPv4/32 address that I can assign to the server and access via the internet. This is set via DHCP from the ISP. I do however have a bunch of IPv6 addresses that I can use for free.
I'd like to attempt on Proxmox, a layer2 VLAN style switch that will allow the ipv4 out to the internet so that I can access the server (obviously via something like tail scale), but then also connect VMs to the VLAN via the IPv6 address to allow them out to the internet.
I hope this makes sense. Does anyone know how/if this is possible on Proxmox?
Thank you in advance for any help given!
Regards,
