I just purchased a http://www.ebay.com/itm/300889121182?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649
Supermicro 6026TT-BTRF SuperServer with four X8DTT-F nodes
The issue is that there is no Hardware Raid onboard, and I need single additional PCI-e slot for Network Interface Cards.
I have 24 - 250gb disk. Everything I do will be on an OmniOS/Napp-IT NAS.
Should I follow the instructions for Proxmox 3.0 Software RAID post Installation, Proxmox 3.0 Software RAID on Debian Wheezy, or Single Disk installation?
I will be purchasing support soon after this cluster is up and running.
I most definitely need four NIC per server, and 6 NIC on Server Node 1.
NIC Per Node (6 Node Cluster)
eth0 - VPS (Public IP Provisioning)
eth1 - Local LAN
eth2 and eth3 - LACP Storage Network
eth4 (Node1 only) - Public Firewall
eth5 (Node1 only) - Private/Local Firewall
If you are saying single disk, how will I protect myself from the inevitable disk failure that will occur? (HA will be enabled for all Provisioned VPS through IPMI port)
