Hy everyone,
Please be patient with me, I am a Proxmox and Linux neophyte and english is not my main langage.
That been said, i have multiple HDD with different size and i want to share the disks on my network so i can access it in my VMs and outside my server (android, linux, windows). I dont want to use RAID because i dont realy care about most of the data and for the part i care i will run a backup strategy. What is the best way ? Should i create a VM with OpenMediaVault and share files with samba, should i create a ubuntu server with samba, should i use FreeNas, Is Ceph a good candidat, etc ? I try to search for my answer on the internet but i faild into the rapid hole very fast.
What is your suggestion ?
Thanks!
