shim SBAT data failed after upgraded to latest kernel.

I too can confirm the issue has been resolved with the latest 8.2-2 revision.

I cleared boot keys and restored default keys, formatted the drives, and installed Proxmox without disabling Secure Boot!!

Thank you, Fabian and Proxmox Team! :)

Hi guys,

seems that you could help me. Problems here (HP G4 600) startet with an electrical power loss.
System powered off everytime I said my spouse via phone (was not at home) to start that thing.

Back home again I plugged in a screen and got an info that date and time are lost.
So I replaced the bios battery, made a bios reset, added daten and time and tried to reboot.

Now I see that message you are discussing here and I am wondering what I can do to fix the problem.
Is there any solution without a new fresh install?

BTW: So far I am to dump to find the option within that hp g4 600 bios to deactivate "secure boot". It seems that that is not within the "security" tab.

Best regards!
Sammy

Code:
Verifiying shim SBAT data failed Security Policy Violation Sonething has gone seriously wrong SBAT self-check failed: Security Policy Violation

EDIT: Sorry for bothering you. Seems I was able to help myself. But perhaps it helps someone else:

1.) I found the secure boot option within the "advanced tab"
2.) I disable secure boot
3.) bootet proxmox .. made apt-get update // apt-get dist-upgrade
4.) reboot
5.) enable sucre boot within bios
6.) seems to work now

(but boot needs to much time coz of a mount timeout waiting for an device which does not exist or something. But I guess I need to post that problem elsewhere)
