Shifting window to proxmox

Hello Everyone;
im new here also on new on proxmox i need help.
ive installed window 10 on my pc and ihve window 10 backup in my external drive and recovery image in pen drive.
now i take out my ssd which hve window installed. and then i put new drive and install proxmox on it. and then i create a VM for window 10...so how can i restore all of my data on Window 10 VM
is this even possible?

I used Clonezilla to create an image and then ran clonezilla on the VM and restored it.

Note the need for mergeide.reg though.

In addition to Brian's answer: I would recommend to just buy another disk and try it out first.

Can u plz Explain little bit

as i mention ive only backup of my data in my external hard drive and system recovery image in my pen drive.
and i wipe down my pc and install proxmox in pc theres no window nothing else only running proxmox...

Now ive 2
#1 i can install new win10 and restore my data
or
#2Ive to buy a dedicated physical machine for proxmox server

but at the moment i only want to restore my data on proxmox.

i do not have window install in my machine but i do have backup of my wind10. in ext3rnal hdd.


right now im running proxmox but i want to use win10 on proxmox and i also want to restore my old backup which i did before uninstalling the wind10....
hope u understand wht i'm trying to do
