Shift Key does not work in VM Console

The shift key does not work. Unable to use special characters within console but works when SSH is used.
This is a real problem with a PW containing special characters.

Have you tried other browsers? I commonly see issues between browser updates.

Your first reply prompted me to try another browser so I opened ProxMox in Edge and the shift key works in the console when connecting via Edge.

You have to turn off the setting called resist finger printing. I ran into this myself, turning it off fixes it, and I'm able to use the built-in console. https://github.com/novnc/noVNC/issues/1882

reported as issue #2165 on librewolf/codeberg. There's a work around for enabling FPP instead of RFP that is considered the fix for now

This is the recommended fix from the librewolf folks...
You can create a overrides file as explained here https://librewolf.net/docs/settings/


Alternatively, you can just disable RFP in the settings then go to about:config and set the value of privacy.fingerprintingProtection.overrides to +AllTargets,-WidgetEvents
