Shared LVM, ырфкув Directory

Hi, can somebody say or get link to man?

I don`t understand what mean shared check box for directory and LVM.

Thank you.
Hi,
shared means, that the storage is from all cluster-nodes accessible. E.g. iscsi-san, fc-san, drbd or nfs.

If your kvm guest has the diskfiles on a shared storage you can use live migration (very nice feature).

Thak you for answer.

Am I correctly understand that with check box need only for PVE to knows that this storage on SAN or NAS? Is this check box get any features/performance except online migration if I use something like iSCSI?

Hi,
it's only for migration: you get then the entry "shared" inside /etc/pve/storage.cfg.
