Hi,
occasionally I need to upload files to different VMs. Using USB kind a works, but can it be done easier, by some local folder? I have seen it somewhere (I think), but cannot find it again. Can it be done?
Thanks

There are many options, simplest is to use SCP from VM into Proxmox host. There is no additional software needed on host or Linux client. Windows guest will need a client.
Next option is to run FTP server on Proxmox or VM. You have to install and configure it but all major Client OS guests have client for it.
A step up is to setup CIFS or NFS server (On proxmox or VM). There are many guides for it on the net.
