I have 6 nodes in a cluster. Each node has a 128GB SSD Boot drive and a 2TB Raid 0 array for storing VMs and Containers. I have a VM template for Windows 10 that I want to be able to clone to all nodes. I see that I can select the storage volume that I have on node 1 but I can not select the storage volume on node 2 through 6. I am using a NFS Share between all nodes and have moved the template Virtual Hard Disk files to that NFS share. Is there something else that I am missing?

AFAIK If you have shared storage, you should be able to access the VM template from Node 2 & then clone from there.

template vdisks are stored on a nfs share. All nodes have access and are able to clone. I cant do a full clone to the nodes storage disk though. It will only allow me to clone to the nfs share instead of each server. Thats what i am not understanding

Not sure why that wouldn't work. Maybe you show us the template's VM conf file.

Can you make a full clone on node 2 & then move/migrate it's disk to node 2 local storage?

I found that if I migrate the template from node 1 to node 2 I am able to clone to its local storage volume. So even though the template Virtual hard disks are stored on a NFS share that is accessible on all nodes I still have to migrate the template to said node I want to clone to.
