Hello new to the forums here and proxmox. I have a server setup with two physical network cards. I want to setup a vpn server on my server 2k8 vm and it needs to nics to do so, one with a public ip address and one with a private ip address. When I try to add the second network interface into proxmox I get an error 400 default gateway already used or something to that effect. I set the public ip up first and I can connect to my vpn but I cannot add the internal private ip without getting the "error 400." Without the default gateway address of 192.168.0.1 for the private ip (the router ip) it wont work, but it wont allow me to add it without the error. Any idea on how to remmedy the issue?

Any other ideas on how to get this going? I thought all vpn servers needed an internal and external ip address. I read that people use openvpn with proxmox how is this possible. thank you
