A few weeks ago I documented the steps for installing HPN-SSH on Proxmox 8.x, as it's a useful way to increase the throughput of data transfer over ssh:

The speed increase on my test lab servers (using old E5-2650 v2 cpus, with 40GbE) was from ~400MB/s to ~790MB/s.
Not super sure it'll be helpful for anyone other than myself, but it's there just in case it is.
