This is trivial task but I`m not sure for 100% so I`l like to ask you.
If I have a classic servers with several NICs I always try to make ideal settings, so separate network for nodes, corosync, ceph...etc and every network has own physical interface.
But this is 2 nodes cluster based on 2 desktops with one ethernet interface.
I`d like to run ceph too and the question is what`s the best scenario to set up it?
I have classic eno1+vmbr0 in bridge and nodes + VM are in the same network.
How shoud I add another network for ceph?

Hey,

my guess would be - that you get a PCIe NIC from a reseller you trust. There a lot of cheap ones which are reliable. You probably gonna use 1GBit/s copper cable or more like a SFP+ setup?
It's a good decision that you want to divide your VE net for specific applications.

You can first try to use the SDN feature for testing purpose which you can find located via WebGUI on "Datacenter > SDN" - https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/chapter-pvesdn.html or my bet is opnsense - you do you when deploying it in your homelab or enterprise
I did it with this manual as sometimes normal documentations are a little to indepth for what I'm really wanna try - https://mattglass-it.com/software-defined-network-proxmox/
