Server Status on the Web Interface (Proxmox 2 vs 3) ???

I have two servers.
On the 1st server [Proxmox 2.3] the Proxmox web UI, under Summary is says CPUs: 8x Intel(R) Xeon(R) E31245..... etc
On the 2nd server [Proxmox 3.0] however is says: 12X QEMU Virtual CPU version 1.1.2

Is this normal?

I am also getting the impression that my send server which is much better in terms of hardware (including HW raid) is performing slower.
I have also posted this that might be of relevance.

your first server shows physical hardware (CPU)
the second server shows virtual CPU´s - this means your server is a KVM guest - which will explain the performance loss.

They are both physical servers!

Are you telling me that I installed Proxmox inside Proxmox just by connecting the single IP of the server??!?
....and although this is absurd... IF this is the virtual server (a KVM) how is it possible for me to be accessing it from the 8006 port???

a physical server does not report virtual CPU. so find out why you physical server reports virtual CPU.

(also a virtual server can be accessed via 8006, why not?)

Mystery solved. Apparently this is how it works when the Hetzner vKVM interface is enabled (and forgotten in one of my Firefox tabs).
So every time I was rebooting the server it was actually rebooting the KVM machine.
All I did was to close that TAB in Firefox and reboot the server!


BAck to 'normal' values now:
CPU BOGOMIPS: 80199.00
REGEX/SECOND: 1477634
HD SIZE: 14.88 GB (/dev/mapper/vg0-root)
BUFFERED READS: 273.22 MB/sec
AVERAGE SEEK TIME: 3.63 ms
FSYNCS/SECOND: 2961.64
DNS EXT: 52.31 ms

What do you make out of those values? All good?
