Hi,

Everything was working couple days ago and today and yesterday, when I was trying to access the shell to one of my hosts, I got the following error.

Bash:
timed out waiting for client
TASK ERROR: command '/usr/bin/termproxy 5900 --path /nodes/maryland --perm Sys.Console -- /bin/login -f root' failed: exit code 4

Anyone know how to resolve this?

hi,

can you ssh between your hosts without any user interaction? (i.e. ssh node2 from node1 should connect to the shelll of node2 without typing a password)

timeout also sounds possibly like a firewall issue. have you checked that?

I have 2 nodes and I have powered down the other node just because I was not using it and it was consuming power.

I can ssh to the host from my laptop but I need the console to work. I have not made any changes to the Firewall and not sure what to look for.

It's really weird that I was having that issue while one of my nodes was powered off. As soon as I powered it back on, the console issue was gone and I was able to access the host shell just fine without any issues.

I guess this resolves my issue, but I still like to know why this happens.
