Server just stops working overnight

Hey there!

I have been loving using proxmox so far. I may have a hard time describing my issue but I'll try.

I have proxmox installed on an NVME drive (new) working with AMD Ryzen 7 cpu. The machine was fully working last night. It's on a UPS. The only activity that was scheduled was a snapshot of some VMs at 5am this morning.

Now I can't reach it from web UI and when I connect a monitor nothing comes through. I did a reboot with the reset button and that got to the blue screen where it counts down before selecting to start the server. Then it goes black and monitor output starts. No web UI. No SSH.

This is a brand new install of proxmox in the last few days and it ran all yesterday with no issue.

Please let me know what I can try as there isn't even an error code.

Do you get to where it shows you the webUI URL and where oyu can login to use the console? then you could login and check if your network is working.

So just now I was able to get into the WebUI. It showed that the backups worked. I started an ubuntu VM. Turned on a vpn in the VM. And then I wasn't able to reach anything at all. No Web UI, no SSH.

I was able to have that VPN on in the VM yesterday and still interact with the server. I have no idea what's going on.

The network is working for all other devices in me home, but now I can't reach the web ui for the ip that is my proxmox server. This has happened each time I install proxmox. It seems to go fine and then suddenly it just stops being reactive. Then if I hard power it off and reboot it corrupts. Very frustrating so far .

I'm not using enterprise hardware, but it all seems to work fine and the nvme is brand new and tests well.
