Please note also that this works only for users@pam by default. As soon as you switch to a user@pve (for example) the root shell window of the Web Gui will ask for a username+password.
For containers, you can login as root automatically without authentication usingFor accessing a VM or Container via Web UI, I need the authenticate, but for the shell of the under laying Server not.
