Server config not available after a IP change ( via CLI)

Hi

I changed the server's IP address by editing the /etc/network/interfaces.
I could reach the server from my laptop by pinging the modified IP address.
Despite this, the Proxmox on the hello screen says:
"Please use your web browser to configure this server - connect to:
https://192.168.1.189:8006" which is the old address.
Please suggest appropriate steps to reach the config wizard via WEB browser or directly on a server.

I think you need to update /etc/issue, and /etc/hosts as well.
