Server Bandwidth Limit

Before you tell me to search, I am asking about either limiting or tracking bandwidth usage - meaning instead of capping a port to 100mbps, I want to cap the transfer at 1000GB of transfer. Beyond that, the client will be either shut down or billed.

There's currently already RRDtool graphs so wonder if there's an easy way to do it or we have to do it at the switch level?

Well, the data is gathered in the RRD database. But you need to write some custom tools to extract that data and apply such limits.
