I got a file named "vm-106-disk-1.vmdk" in a 1TB Harddisk. I tried to send and overwrite this file via usb to the directory "var/lib/vz/images/106 on proxmox, but i dont know how, is there a way to do this.

Note: i can able to send this file over network but, it took like 10 hours to send it because its 60GB. if i can send this over usb it would take less time ..

thanks a lot...

if you get a standard gbit network it should just take about 30 min - depends also on your harddisk speed.

but yes, you can connect a external usb drive to the proxmox ve host, just mount it and copy the file. but it will take also at least 30 min.

Thanks for quick reply,
But i am really extremely little knowledge about linux command line and I dont know how to write this command in proxmox...
can you help me about this...

Thanks a lot...

there are a lot of Linux howto´s around, and this is a support forum for Proxmox VE - so I suggest you buy a good Linux book and make yourself familar with the basics.
