Secure Boot – Microsoft UEFI CA 2023 Certificate - Promox host server

I am running Proxmox 9.1, I have tested for secure boot on the physical server and it appears to be disabled.
mokutil --sb-state
SecureBoot disabled

My servers are Dell R650 and should support the 2023 certificate.
All hosting servers are setup as UEFI

Does Proxmox require secure boot to be enabled or is it an optional setting.
I can see all the Windows hosts which are setup as UEFI are setup with Microsoft UEFI CA 2023 Certificate so that is not an issue.

Secure boot is not a requirement for PVE, but can be used, see [0]. If you installed PVE before version 8.1, secure boot needed to be disabled when using the installer [1].
