Secondary Storage Proxmox

Hello,

i have run proxmox on my server. and then i attach new 2 ssd to my server (i set raid 1).
i want ask, if i add new ssd as secondary storage local, what partition type should i choose.
there is LVM, LVM-thin, Ext4(directory). Any recommendation for production use ? may be aspect speed read/write,easy to manage or feature?

how if i store vm disk and container only, what type storage that has the fastest read/write performance
i have dedicated nas storage for backup storage.
