How can in add an secondary static ip address to the proxmox server.

All changes to the file /etc/network/interfaces are removed after a reboot!?

Hi Gustav,
yes, proxmox supports just one ip address. why do you want to add another IP address?

Hello

One for internal smtp, one for external smtp.

We cannot change the smtp ports, so, we need 2 ip addresses.

Has Proxmox a "interface" template file?

Yes, there is a interface template file, but simply adding an ip address there is not enough and does not work.
