Second network card in same server for software licensing proposes.

Hi,

Hi have the latest and stable proxmox version installed and working with 1 network card.

My new template is running ubuntu 8.04 and i have a php software with a tied license to another ethernet card.

So i want to put the second network card in the ubuntu 8.04 to get my software license to work, but this card will not be used and dont need any ip configuration, only for the license.

I have already the vmbr1 configures to bridge for eth1.

Any help ?

you run an Ubuntu 8.04 container?
just use veth and specify the MAC via gui - there is no need to have the physical NIC on the host.
