Heya!

I've moved my Windows Server 2022 VM from ESXi over to Proxmox, however I'm now facing an issue that I can't set the virtual boot disk to SCSI or it'll not boot at all.
I've already installed the VirtIO drivers in Windows itself via the SATA mode, however rebooting the machine results in a bluescreen with inaccessible drive after a while. It seems that the boot is still missing said VirtIO drivers somehow?

How can I inject those? I've looked around a bit but couldn't find a way.

Thanks already!

I had some similar problems with a W2k8R2-Server. Just pay attention on step 2 from the other thread:
The new attached disk was add as SATA ID 1, right? If you change it to SCSI or VirtIO don't forget to change the ID to 0.
After all the other steps as described it should work for you too.

It is added as ID 0 again when changing to SCSI, yet still doesn't boot sadly.

I'm talking about the new created disk. It has to be SCSI and ID 0. You did that?
